We want you to start your first semester at UConn with a selection of courses that are an appropriate match for your current academic skills.
In particular, it is critical that you are well informed about what English and math courses you should take. An advisor will talk to you at the advising and registration session about your background and interests and help you make the best choices.
Please consider your courses for English and math very carefully, and make some notes to yourself as you work through this placement information. You will be asked to make a preliminary choice of courses on the registration form in Step Two.
