Academic ProbationHelpful LinksScholastic probation is an identification of students whose scholastic performance is below University standards. Students are on scholastic probation for the next semester in which they are enrolled if their academic performance is such that they are included in any of the following conditions:

DismissalStudents are eligible for academic dismissal when they: - Fail to meet the minimum scholastic standards for two consecutive registered semesters. A student who has been dismissed from the University for academic reasons may not register for courses at the University as a non-degree student without the approval of the Dean of Continuing Studies, who will inform the dean of the student's previous school or college about the decision made. Students who have been dismissed must apply for readmission after demonstrating a strong probability for academic success [see READMISSION].
