Scholarship Information

The University of Connecticut at Stamford offers scholarships based on academic and/or financial need based criteria.  These scholarships are usually awarded as part of the Stamford Campus and Related scholarships application process. 

The Stamford Campus and Related Scholarships provide numerous financial opportunities to current students.  The scholarships are supported by the generosity of alumni, corporate and private donors. 

 

The application deadline has passed. Look for the new application in November 2009.

If you would like to be considered for any of these scholarships, you are required to do the following:

  1. Complete the above application for the Stamford Campus and Related Scholarships.  Provide all documentation necessary.  Incomplete applications will not be considered. 
  2. The Stamford Campus and Related Scholarships applications must be received by March 5, 2009. Only degree students with 12 or more COMPLETED credits are eligible.

The Morrison Award for Bachelor of General Studies students: Scholarships for student pursuing a BGS degree based on academic scholarship and financial need. Other awards are also available.  Go to the link below and apply directly using the application on the website.

You may also wish to check your library, contact community groups, high school or prior institutions and local civic organizations for information regarding other scholarship opportunities. You should never have to pay a fee for any scholarship search. All students should fill out a FAFSA form for other financial aid at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
