Math consultants are available to:

• assist you if you have difficulty completing homework problems
• review and explain fundamental mathematical concepts
• identify mistakes in your calculations
• review problem solving strategies
• provide helpful strategies and recommendations for studying for math exams

 

Our Science peer tutors are available to:

• review class notes and help you understand key concepts
• suggest effective reading, note taking and study skills
• help you work through homework problems
• discuss lab report writing requirements
• assist you with lab report editing and review skills

Student Guidelines for Meeting with Q Consultants at The SOURCE

Students are able to set up one 30 minute session per day with one of our Q Consultants.  Please note: student access to multiple weekly appointments at peak times during the semester will be limited at the discretion of the Coordinator of The Source.

If you cannot keep your assigned appointment you must come in or call us at (203) 251-8484 to cancel. 

Failure to do so in a timely manner will restrict your ability to sign up for future appointments.  Please be courteous to other students who also need to take advantage of our services.
